Michael Dawson was shocked by the poor defending displayed by Blackburn Rovers, allowing West Brom to score three goals and causing a major catastrophe in their defense.

Dawson criticized the defense by stating that the Blackburn players were disorganized and that the game was already over at The Hawthorns.

The ex-Tottenham player was completely surprised when Albion increased their advantage once again. He wondered who had managed to score the goal, but it turned out to be an own goal by Dominic Hyam.

During a live interview with Sky Sports News on January 13 at 3:35 PM, Dawson provided an explanation. He stated that the ball was passed to Alex Mowatt who was on the edge of the box. Mowatt attempted to curl it into the far post, but it hit the keeper and ended up hitting Asante instead of going in for a goal. The contact with Asante was not a deliberate or strategic finish.

"It could even be a self-inflicted score, the situation is chaotic, it's a catastrophic outcome, and the game is already finished. Blackburn has performed extremely poorly. West Brom is leading 3-0."

Albion is applying more pressure.

Even though they got lucky during the scramble in the penalty box leading to their third goal, which was a result of some terrible defending, it was still deserved based on their overall performance in the first half.

They were in control for the majority of the first half and capitalized on the opportunities presented to them. Brandon Thomas-Asante was able to score a goal, although it was not recognized by the officials, and Tom Fellows also managed to put one in the back of the net.

Carlos Corberan had a well-executed game strategy that completely worked in their favor. Blackburn had a hard time defending themselves, which played to the advantage of Carlos' team. Carlos' team was able to take control and turn the tables, scoring three goals just before the half-time whistle.

As they enter the second half, it's crucial to maintain their momentum and not let their opponents gain confidence by being lazy. This is something the manager is determined to prevent.

Additional information concerning West Brom reveals they are hoping to secure another acquisition in January.
