Victoria Beckham Turns 50, David Beckham Celebrates With New Photos and a Gentle Roast

Victoria Beckham has just turned fifty years old, and her husband, the famous soccer player David Beckham, marked her milestone birthday with a video full of pictures from the past and some humorous moments. He posted the video on his Instagram account on Wednesday. The video starts with their eldest kids, Brooklyn and Romeo, sending their mom a heartfelt birthday message many years ago.

The tribute pays homage to Victoria with a collection of pictures, including shots of her as a baby, caring for her own children, and hanging out with Baby Spice back when they both belonged to the Spice Girls. David, who is 48 years old, took the opportunity to make fun of his wife by including a famous soundbite from the recently aired Netflix documentary about their family. He shared a photo of a young Victoria standing next to her father’s Rolls-Royce, which he mentions to tease her about her apparent claim to a working-class upbringing. It’s clear that despite her Spice Girl nickname of "Posh Spice", Victoria may have grown up with greater luxury than she lets on.

David encourages his spouse in his birthday message to reflect on their achievements, successes, and creations with pride. One of these triumphs is, without a doubt, becoming the wife of an England captain.

"However, the ultimate measure of your accomplishment lies in your children. You lead them, show them affection, and educate them," he added. "They adore you to an inexpressible extent, and we all cherish you greatly."

He concluded his statement by describing his spouse as both "physically attractive and in good shape at the age of 50," and concluded with a final mention of the Rolls, emphasizing his honesty.

David delved into his family's collection and proudly displayed some previously unseen photos, and now a fresh book is on the horizon that claims to reveal further intriguing facts about the clan. The House of Beckham: Money, Sex and Power, authored by reporter Tom Bower, will be published by HarperCollins on June 25th.

Bower, a writer who had previously authored investigative books about King Charles III and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, announced in a statement that he aims to provide readers with an unexpected perspective on "Brand Beckham" and everything it encompasses by employing thorough research and conducting interviews with insiders.

"When I began investigating the Beckhams for my book, I anticipated that an extensive portrayal of their lifestyles would be highly delightful and informative, nonetheless, I was caught off guard by the discovery of such a captivating and untold narrative," he shared.

He mentioned that the aim of the book is to respond to the query, "Is it true that the Beckhams are leading impeccable lives which they want everyone to believe?"

According to Bower's remark to the Mirror, his upcoming book will explore not just the couple's business activities and reputation control, but also their personal connection. Therefore, one might wonder if the book will discuss David's supposed extramarital relationships and the period of the early 2000s that famously caused Victoria to proclaim 2003 as the "most unhappy" year of her life.

Bower stated that individuals curious about Beckham's sexual experiences will find the information they seek.
