During Paris Fashion Week, Victoria Beckham's presentation faced a disturbance from animal right protesters belonging to Peta. These individuals went onto the runway to express their dissent towards the designer's employment of animal-derived materials.
The designer, who is now 49 years old and initially gained notoriety as a member of the popular music group the Spice Girls, gave a presentation of her latest collection for autumn/winter 2024 on Friday, the 1st of March.
The activists stood up during the fashion show and walked on the runway next to the models. They held signs that read "long live vegan leather."
Their tops say: "Animals are not materials. Say no to animal skins."
Demonstrators appealed to the company to reassess their utilization of animal-based materials.
