Crooked House fire: Police appeal for information on fire that gutted iconic pub

Authorities are currently conducting an inquiry regarding a fire that extensively damaged the renowned Black Country pub, The Crooked House, during the previous evening.

Staffordshire Police is seeking assistance regarding the blaze that occurred at The Crooked House in Himley. The incident was brought to the attention of the authorities around 10.30pm on Saturday, and now they are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward.

Firefighters from the Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service and West Midlands Fire Service fought persistently throughout the early hours of the daybreak to suppress the fire, whose origin is yet to be determined.

Police were summoned to a notification regarding a fire incident at the former Crooked House pub located on Himley Road around 10:45 PM last night.

Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service teams were already present and had successfully put out the fire. It was not suspected that anyone was present in the structure, and there have been no reports of any injuries.
