Martin Kemp, 62, fears he has 'ten years left to live'

Martin Kemp

Martin revealed in a broadcast with Piers Morgan's Life Stories back in 2014 that he had been diagnosed with two non-cancerous growths. Martin's wife, Shirlie, noticed a lump developing on his head, which prompted him to undergo medical assessment.

He said to the host, "Had they not discovered the one protruding out, they would not have stumbled upon the one in the center until it was indeed too late, and it was that one which would have led to my demise."

Martin had an operation to get rid of the tumours and had radiotherapy too. Though the operation went well, he now has epilepsy and has to take medicine for it. Epilepsy is a common aftermath of the surgery.

Martin was among the numerous celebrities who backed the Princess of Wales when she made her own cancer diagnosis public on 22 March.
