Pop icon Madonna has announced a global tour featuring her hits from the past forty years, titled Madonna: The Celebration Tour.

The star will visit 35 cities in a tour that will span North America and Europe – with one night at London’s O2 Arena.

Billed as a “one-of-a-kind experience”, the concerts will also feature special guest Bob the Drag Queen, real name Caldwell Tidicue, across all dates.

Pre-sale tickets for the UK show went on sale on Wednesday 18 January, with some packages reportedly costing over £1,000 per person – here’s everything you need to know.

When do Madonna tickets go on sale?

Tickets for all shows go on sale on Friday 20 January 20 from 10am via Ticketmaster and LiveNation.

A one-day pre-sale has been available for members of Madonna’s Official Club since 9am on Wednesday 18 January, and O2 Priority members from 10.30am.

While general release tickets for all shows go on sale today, pre-sale prices have given an indication of their affordability.

At the start of the 9am pre-sale, prices were reported to start at £47.55 for a standard ticket, increasing to £1,306.75 for chosen VIP packages.

As the ticket sale continued, the remaining available ticket prices reportedly ranged from £93 up to £436.85 each as the more affordable options sold out.

General release tickets can be bought from 10am on Friday via Ticketmaster and LiveNation.
