It is only the second week of Dancing On Ice but one celebrity has already left the competition. Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu ended up in the skate off from week one and ex footballer John Fashanu ended up in the skate off from week two.
The pair took to the ice in the first dreaded skate off of the series before the judges decided who would be leaving the show. Ashley Banjo decided to save Ekin-Su whilst Oti Mabuse saved Ekin-Su.
As the expert head judge Jayne Torvill she chose to save Ekin-Su and head judge Christopher Dean he chose Ekin-Su. That meant that it was John Fashanu and his partner Alexandra Schauman who sadly became the first celebrity to leave Dancing On Ice 2023.

John took to the ice on week two with his partner Alexandra as they skated to the song Eat My Goal by Collapsed Lung. The 60 year-old has embraced being on the ice saying that he was in the show to win it.
Fans of the show were delighted that Ekin-Su made it through to week three. @_Ce_Ce__ said: "Come on! @ekinsuofficial is through. Yessssss. 100% the right choice. Well done judges and well done Ekin-Su."
@xxncisaddictxx also said: "At least they made the right decision John needed to go." @DhirAvni added; "#DancingOnIce yay Ekin is through to next week sooooooooo happy."
@Maria07091 added: "YESS EKINNN IS THROUGH!!!" @StacyOnWheels also added: "Thank goodness for that. I was worried for a while that we’d loose our fabulous Ekin-Su."
Next Sunday the remaining 10 celebrities will take to the ice all in one show for the first time. Dancing On Ice has said that next weekend will be musicals week meaning the stakes are even hire.
Dancing On Ice continues Sunday at 6:25pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
