The footballer Erling Haaland is not included in the list of players for Manchester City's team as they go head-to-head against Chelsea at the FA Cup semi-finals in Wembley.

The City team is aiming to bounce back after their loss to Real Madrid in the Champions League during the middle of the week. Even though they were in control for most of the second leg, the defending champions unfortunately lost on penalties.

The team has the opportunity to advance to the finals of the FA Cup and save their chance at winning two titles this season. However, they will be missing their star player, who has already scored 31 goals this year.

During the game against Madrid, Haaland was among several players who suffered injuries and had to leave the field. At the end of the game, he was substituted in the 90th minute with Julian Alvarez taking his place for the remaining 30 minutes and the subsequent penalty shootout.

Guardiola mentioned that Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne, and Manuel Akanki requested to leave. They were unable to keep going.

Manchester City's squad for the FA Cup game against Chelsea will not include Erling Haaland.

During the Champions League game against Real Madrid, Haaland requested to be taken out of the match due to a muscle problem.

Akanji and De Bruyne have begun playing for City, overcoming their problems. Unfortunately, Haaland didn't have the same luck and might have to wait a while before returning to the field.

Guardiola informed prior to the match that his player upfront was injured. According to him, the injury might not be severe, however, the player is not fit to play in today's match.

When questioned about his readiness to participate in the upcoming match against Brighton later in the week, he responded with uncertainty, stating: 'I am unaware.'

Earlier this season, City faced the absence of Haaland for a few weeks because of a foot injury. He missed the Club World Cup and Christmas period but finally came back on the field in January.

Presently, he is struggling with a muscle injury and therefore, he won't be able to join his team in the capital as they strive to reach another Wembley final. Instead, he will have to watch the game whilst seated in the stands.

However, Kevin De Bruye, who exited the pitch due to an injury, was healthy enough to begin the match at Wembley.

The team led by Guadiola is determined to maintain their chances of winning a double title.

In another part of the city team, John Stones came back to play in defence while Phil Foden and Jack Grealish remained in their positions from the previous defeat against Madrid.

After their victory against Everton, Enzo Fernandez made his comeback to Chelsea. However, the team started with Noni Madueke, Nicolas Jackson, and Cole Palmer for the match, despite their disagreement about a penalty during the game on Monday.
