Moyes' team had an awful first half performance and were embarrassed within the first 31 minutes. Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze appeared to be unstoppable.

In the match, Olise scored in the first seven minutes, followed by Eze who successfully converted a rebound with an impressive bicycle kick. Later, Emerson, due to a miscommunication with Lukasz Fabianski, unintentionally put the ball into his own net, summing up the poor performance of the Hammers players in the game.

No one was looking after Jean-Philippe Mateta, so he easily scored Crystal Palace's fourth goal. Michail Antonio managed to score one goal before the end of the first half, but Mateta didn't stop there and managed to shoot another ball into the net with the help of Eze's incredible playmaking skills, allowing Crystal Palace to gain a fifth goal.

Despite Dean Henderson's mistake towards the end of the game, where he allowed Tyrick Mitchell's pass to accidentally go into his own goal, it doesn't take away from the fact that Palace won. This was a significant win for Palace, as it's the first time they have achieved back-to-back victories in the Premier League within the last year.

West Ham had a really bad week. They lost heavily and also got knocked out of the Europa League on Thursday. Their chances of qualifying for any other European competitions are also not looking too good now. It seems like their season might not end very well.

In Crystal Palace's recent game, Henderson scored a 5 out of 10, Clyne got a 7, Andersen also got a 7, Richards received a 7, Munoz and Wharton both got a 7, Hughes also got a 7, Mitchell got a 7, Olise scored an 8, Mateta also scored an 8 and finally, Eze performed spectacularly with a score of 9.

The players who made an impact during the match were Ahamada, Ayew, and Edouard. Riedewald and Schlupp did not get a chance to play.

The West Ham football team had their latest match and the players who participated include Fabianski, Coufal, Zouma, Ogbonna, Emerson, Alvarez, Soucek, Paqueta, Ward-Prowse, Kudus, and Antonio. Each of these players received a score rating with Fabianski, Coufal, Zouma, Ogbonna, and Emerson all receiving a score of 5. Alvarez, Soucek, Paqueta, Kudus and Antonio all received a score of 6.

The aforementioned players were utilized in the game: Cresswell, Johnson, Ings, Phillips, and Cornet (whose number of appearances is unknown).

The standout performer in the game was Eberechi Eze. He was chosen as the player of the match due to his impressive performance on the field.

Palace Humiliates Helpless Hammers

West Ham's unpredictable season took another twist in the southern part of London. Their objective was to win in order to move up to sixth place, but they concluded the game having conceded four or more goals in the Premier League for the fifth occasion this season.

Maybe they were fatigued from their previous match against Bayer Leverkusen, but that doesn't justify West Ham's performance during the first half of the game.

Palace dominated over their rivals from London, scoring the first point in the match when Olise outmaneuvered Emerson and Fabianski to head a cross from Joachim Andersen straight into the net without any opposition.

Shortly after, Mitchell came close to increasing the score, yet Palace didn't have to hold out for quite some time before scoring again. Eze decided to execute an incredible bicycle kick using the rebound from Mateta's shot for the goal.

Emerson managed to redirect a ground pass into the goal while being closely marked by Daniel Munoz, evading Fabianski's reach. Following this, Mateta easily scored Palace's fourth goal with no challenge in the West Ham area.

Antonio had a really bad afternoon, but he managed to score a point when he pushed the ball into the net after Soucek passed it to him, beating Henderson.

Eze had a good chance to score in the beginning of the second half, but he missed and got denied by Fabianski and Kurt Zouma. However, Mateta was able to score the fifth goal after making West Ham's captain suffer.

Moyes' team received an unfair second point thanks to a mistake made by Henderson, who wasn't paying attention and accidentally directed Mitchell's pass into his own goal. However, this wasn't enough to make a significant impact on the final result. West Ham has been struggling lately, having only won one of their last eight matches across all competitions.

Moyes has not indicated that he will continue with West Ham beyond the end of the current season. With other top-six teams having games in hand, the season could be a disappointment for West Ham.

Moyes Takes Responsibility For Bad Performance

David Moyes, the coach of West Ham, was extremely angry about how his team played. He commented that the first half was the worst he had ever seen. He couldn't believe that his team had experienced three to four situations like this during the season.

During my three years here, the team had never reached such low points as we have in just a few games recently.

The initial part of the match was not satisfactory, mostly relating to our defense and the way we kicked off. Many aspects were not proper during this particular game. We didn't put up a fight. It's complicated to elucidate.

I won't make any excuses. The players were lauded for their performance on Thursday, but today was terrible. I struggle to find the right words to describe it.

The players must react to this situation. The robust atmosphere that we used to have, which involved being proud, diligent, and not letting anyone score easily against us, seems to have dwindled. Today, we failed to exhibit any of those traits.

I feel really let down for the fans who showed up today. It's shameful for me to be up here representing the team after that performance. I've never encountered a team that played so poorly throughout my entire career.

Moyes thinks that it's still feasible for them to secure a spot in Europe even though they're not in a strong position currently. He added that if they were in this same position but had won six consecutive games prior, they would be more optimistic about their chances.

Even though we have suffered a few defeats, our possibility of success is still present. We will not lose hope and will continue to put in our best efforts.

Glasner Congratulates His Players

In the words of Oliver Glasner, the manager of Crystal Palace:

First of all, a big round of applause goes out to the entire team for their outstanding performance and phenomenal victory. West Ham is known for their exceptional transitional plays, but we managed to prevent them from creating such opportunities.

We made a mistake and let the opponent score a goal, but we managed to stay focused in the second half. I am very happy with our performance.

When asked about the stellar performances of Olise and Eze, Glasner acknowledged their skill and emphasized their importance to the team's attack. However, he also stressed the collaborative nature of the sport.

"We are aware of their exceptional abilities and they took pleasure in exhibiting their skills, however, we permitted West Ham to have four attempts at goal. This holds significance. It is imperative that everyone puts in their best effort for the benefit of the team and they did just that."

Glasner showed little concern regarding Adam Wharton, who was taken off the field due to a collision with Emerson. He stated that the collision was a knee-to-knee impact and that Wharton seems to be hurting. However, the severity of the injury is yet to be determined.

In my opinion, the situation isn't severe. Although it's causing discomfort, he is a youthful individual and therefore, capable of coping with the discomfort.
