Line planning three year cruise acquires larger ship | Travel Weekly

Cruise ship

A group making preparations for a three-year global voyage has obtained a larger vessel to conduct the 130,000-mile journey.

Instead of the smaller MV Gemini, which will continue offering short cruises around the Greek islands, Miray Cruises has decided to assign the extended voyage to the MV Lara, a ship that can accommodate 1,266 passengers.

According to the cruise company operating Life At Sea Cruises, the reason behind acquiring the bigger and more modern ship is to satisfy the overwhelming excitement from daring individuals across the globe.

The AidaAvita, which was constructed in 2002, was in service for Aida Cruises, a German brand under Carnival Corporation, until the outbreak of the pandemic.

The massive ship, weighing 42,000 gross tons, will travel to 382 different ports, spanning across all seven continents and reaching a total of 148 countries. This extensive voyage will commence from Istanbul on November 1, marking the beginning of its three-year expedition.

The starting price for a regular interior cabin per individual, per annum is $43,860.

The company claims that residents will enjoy a "friendly atmosphere" and "feel a strong sense of camaraderie and unity" while on board.

"We couldn't be more thrilled to present the stunning MV Lara for this extraordinary, groundbreaking, three-year journey," expressed Kendra Holmes, CEO of Miray Cruises.

The demand for our extended global exploration trips is skyrocketing, leading to the expansion of our fleet.

"Our inhabitants are transforming their lives for this chance, and we are privileged to play a role in their individual voyages."

The boat will showcase refurbished rooms, a corporate hub equipped with workspaces, and a round-the-clock accessible infirmary providing free healthcare consultations.

The statement made by Ethem Bayramoglu, the COO of our company, is quite exciting as we are delighted to witness the immense enthusiasm surrounding our travel plan and the exclusive destinations we will constantly be visiting during the summer season.

This serves as proof of the magnetic pull of our extended global voyage idea and the extraordinary adventures that lie in store for our passengers on board MV Lara.
