Fresh Shots Of Carnival Pride

On April 28, 2023, Carnival Pride went into dry dock in Cadiz, Spain. The refurbishment will last a month. The entire ship will be refurbished.

During the ship's downtime, lots of things are happening. Three popular places are being added: the Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge, the Carnival Adventures Shop, and Dreams Photo Studio.

The ship got spruced up with upgrades and maintenance. Photos show the shiny half-glass funnel, with the metal around it newly cleaned and painted. The colors look really bright.

"Fresh Paint For The Fleet!"

We are excited about the new paint job on the ship. The exterior hull is getting a fresh look. The new red-white-and-blue design was first seen on the Mardi Gras ship last year. Now, each ship is getting this new look during maintenance.

Repainting the hull serves as more than just a cosmetic touch-up. It protects the boat from corrosion and prevents the growth of organisms like algae and barnacles. These could lower fuel efficiency and introduce unwelcome creatures into the marine environment.

Inside the ship, the team is working hard. They're putting in new flooring and cleaning a lot. They're also adding new decorations as needed.

They're taking out the Beauties nightclub space on the ship's lower-level. They'll put some new staterooms there, including a fully-accessible one. But they're keeping the upper level of the nightclub as it is.

David's, the popular steakhouse, is getting a makeover. It will be called Fahrenheit 555, like other steakhouse on Fun Ships.

The ship, Carnival Pride, is getting upgrades. There are upgrades to the electrical system and other technical areas. These upgrades will make the ship work better and be safer.

"Ready To Come Back Soon"

On May 28, 2023, Carnival Pride will start sailing again. It will go from Barcelona to Dover and will take 12 nights. People will get to see its new look and upgrades at stops in Spain, Portugal, France, and Belgium.

The ship has been restored and will sail from Dover, UK during summer. There are 9 and 12-night sailings. The ship will visit places like Norway, Sweden, Germany, Estonia, Finland, and Denmark. The itinerary and sailing date determine the destinations.

Carnival Pride provides lengthier cruises between September and October. These depart from Rome to visit Greece and Italy. They only offer a few of these cruises, so book quickly! Afterward, Carnival Pride will return to the US. They offer a 15-night cruise from Rome to Tampa. This begins on October 28, 2023.

Carnival Pride is now in the US. The ship will stay in Tampa until April 2024. It will go to the Western Caribbean and Panama Canal. In spring 2024, it will move to Baltimore for more trips. These trips will be to Bermuda, The Bahamas, and the Eastern Caribbean.

The Carnival Pride ship started working for the cruise line in 2002. It has been upgraded and renovated many times in the past 21 years. The most recent upgrade was in early 2015. It's called the 2.0 upgrade and it added Guy's Burger Joint, the BlueIguana Cantina, WaterWorks, and other things to the ship.
