The Scottish Premiership leaders scored three goals in their latest game, with two of them being scored by the Japanese attacker during the first half of the game. In addition, Matt O'Riley successfully converted a penalty towards the end of the game. This victory helped them to increase their lead by six points and eight goals compared to their rivals Rangers. The Rangers will be hosting Kilmarnock next Sunday, after which they will be facing Celtic on May 11, which will be shown live on Sky Sports.

If the Rangers lose tomorrow, it would provide an opportunity for Celtic to secure their third successive championship when they face off against their local foes the following Saturday.

If Rangers were to win against Kilmarnock, it would not matter much as a victory in the derby match for Brendan Rodgers' team would mean they are very close to winning the championship title. They prepared for this important game with a remarkable performance at the loud Celtic Park.

"Celtic Inch Closer To Title Win"

In the past, Hearts managed to win against the opposing teams. However, this time Celtic was fully prepared since Daizen Maeda was able to recover from his hamstring injury and participate in the game.

At the beginning of the match, the visitors showed they were just as strong as the home team and almost scored within the first minute. Lawrence Shankland had a great scoring opportunity after Dexter Lembikisa passed the ball back to him, but Cameron Carter-Vickers managed to block his shot and the ball went out for a corner.

In the fourth minute of the game, the team playing at home managed to score thanks to a great effort from Furuhashi. The play started with Zander Clark, who punched out Matt O'Riley's corner to the outside of the penalty area. Reo Hatate was alert and quickly sent the ball back into the danger zone, where Furuhashi headed it into the back of the net. However, the referee and VAR had to take a close look at the play since there was a possibility of an offside. This was because, initially, Clark was ahead of the Celtic striker as Hatate received the ball.

The team Hearts faced a danger once more as Joe Hart made an impressive save with only one hand from Cammy Devlin's shot. The game continued to be action-packed as Carter-Vickers just missed a header.

Celtic scored again in the 21st minute when O'Riley kicked a ball high over the opposing team's defense. Furuhashi used his right foot, which wasn't his strongest, to gently hit the ball into the bottom corner of the goal.

The first half of the game ended with Celtic playing very well. Clark had to make some amazing saves from Taylor, O'Riley, and Furuhashi, with each save being better than the one before.

The team sitting at the top of the league kept up their momentum from before halftime, and Clark managed to stop two shots from Hatate and O'Riley. Then, James Forrest had two chances to score but narrowly missed both times.

The sound of the supporters at home became louder while Celtic attempted to improve their goal advantage. Callum McGregor and Furuhashi's aggressive sliding tackles while defending received similar applause to the goals scored.

During the second half, Hearts had an opportunity to score, but Hart managed to make an impressive final stop. This happened after the Japanese player, Yutaro Oda, did a one-two with his teammate, Scott Fraser.

In the 87th minute of the game, O'Riley powerfully kicked a penalty into the top corner of the goal after Shankland was penalized for using his hand and the referee Kevin Clancy had to review the incident on a monitor. Clark, the goalkeeper, made a good save from a shot by the substitute player Maeda from a short distance.

Only three games are left in the season. Celtic will play against Rangers at their home ground in an important Old Firm game next Sunday. After that, they will be playing Kilmarnock on May 15 in two matches that could make them the champions of the Scottish Premiership. All three matches will be broadcast live on Sky Sports. Celtic will complete the season with their final game against St. Mirren on May 18.

The upcoming soccer schedule of Hearts includes a match against Dundee on the following Saturday. Afterwards, they will travel to play against St Mirren on May 15th, and their final game of the season will be on May 18 against Rangers. All of these matches will take place at Tynecastle Park.
