Football supporters from England have strongly criticized Channel 4 for airing advertisements promoting medication for impotence in between the two halves of yesterday's game held at Wembley Stadium against Italy.

Moms and dads who were at home watching the game with their kids expressed their disapproval on social media about the broadcaster showing suggestive commercials. The ads depicted a couple getting ready for some bedroom action and were aired before 9pm. Parents were concerned about the inappropriate content being shown during the Euro 2024 qualifiers when there were bound to be younger football fans watching.

Additionally, the identical commercial was displayed on Friday night amidst the profitable mid-game commercial interval while England played against Australia.

A lot of people went on Twitter to express that they felt uncomfortable watching the advertisements which were displayed before 9pm, a time regulated by Ofcom guidelines. The viewers mentioned that they had been faced with uncomfortable inquiries from their children regarding the content of the adverts.

A commercial promoting the brand Cialis displayed a couple hugging prior to going to bed, with a voiceover announcing: 'Cialis Together is a solution for issues with getting an erection that assists me in naturally responding when aroused.'

A father expressed his enjoyment when his eight-year-old inquired about erectile dysfunction after the halftime commercials. He gave credit to Channel 4 for the experience.

Another supporter of football commented: 'There are many children watching the match. It might be best to save the promotion of impotence medication for after the game.'

A mother or father wrote: 'I was taken aback that this commercial was aired on ITV1 at 8:45pm while an England soccer match was on.'

Many children may inquire with their parents about the meaning of "erection" and "sexually aroused."

Ads promoting Cialis aired on Channel 4 during the intermission of England's matches against Italy and Australia, which took place on Tuesday and Friday respectively.

On Tuesday evening, England emerged victorious with a 3-1 win over Italy. However, some parents reported experiencing uncomfortable discussions with their kids regarding the Cialis advertisements. The image displays England's Marcus Rashford celebrating his goal with Harry Kane and Phil Foden.

The commercial started with a person speaking over it, stating: "Cialis Together is a remedy for troubles with getting and keeping an erection, which assists in my natural response when aroused."

The games of the English men's team that are not part of international tournaments can now be watched on Channel 4. The advertisement was not displayed during the streaming of the match, which can be accessed through the Channel 4 website and app.

MailOnline has reached out to the broadcaster to obtain a statement.

Cialis Together is a medication that can be bought without a prescription and has a price of £21.99 for four tablets. It is designed specifically for men who have difficulty achieving and maintaining an erection during sexual activity. The medication is said to be active for up to 36 hours after it is taken.

The guidelines set by Ofcom in their Broadcasting Code state that anything that is not appropriate for kids should not be aired from 9pm until 5:30am.

The regulating body for communications categorizes inappropriate materials as 'anything ranging from sexual themes, violent or graphic images, disturbing visuals, and the use of foul language.'

At Wembley, England emerged victorious with a score of 3-1 against Italy. This win can be seen as a way of getting even with Italy, who had beaten them on the very same field during the Euro 2020 final. England's win also secured their spot in the upcoming tournament that will take place next summer.

The away team, led by Gianluca Scamacca, scored the first goal of the match. However, their advantage was short-lived as Harry Kane converted a penalty to equalize the score just past the thirty-minute mark.

In the second half of the game, England managed to score two more goals. The first was scored by Marcus Rashford, after the team executed an excellent play. The second goal was achieved by Kane, who completed a great shot and secured his second score of the match.
