Laurence Fox says ex-wife Billie Piper's co-parenting claims are 'outright lies'

Laurence Fox has reacted to comments made by his ex-wife, Billie Piper, regarding the challenges they face while co-parenting their two children. Piper had previously stated that it was a difficult task.

Piper, who has been mostly reserved regarding her divorce from Fox in 2016, discussed the topic during an interview with British Vogue.

On Friday, Fox issued a lengthy statement on X, wherein he labeled her remarks as "complete falsehoods."

The truth is that some marriages don't succeed and everything isn't flawless, according to his words.

Fox included that he strongly disagrees with the claim that it is extremely challenging to co-parent with him.

I have always allowed our sons to see their mother and I only hope that she can have a secure family life, but it seems that she still struggles to achieve this.

For the past few years, all I have concentrated on is being there for my children and being a caring father. I may not be flawless, but my utmost priority has been to prioritize my children's needs before my own.

Fox said that he had been taken to court by Piper over twelve times after their separation. He stated that this had caused them to pay more money that ought to have been used for their children's future.

He also condemned the "private" family tribunal system, which he declared was "incredibly biased towards the mother" and was "completely unsuitable for its intended function."

The ex-star of Lewis, who has recently rebranded himself as a leader of the Reclaim Party and a campaigner against the "woke" movement, has become entangled in multiple scandals.

A recent incident caused GB News to terminate their association with him. This was due to his "misogynistic" comments directed at a journalist. He subsequently expressed his remorse.

Piper informed Vogue that there were disputes which made it challenging to co-parent her kids, who are 11 and 15 years old, with Fox.

"I had to make some decisions and a divorce is self-explanatory. At least, that's what it should be," she stated.

She stated that the most important thing for her is the confidentiality and secrecy of her children. She believes that they should be allowed to create their own individualities instead of just being viewed as an extension of their parents.

According to Vogue, Piper's interview was conducted a few days before a court decision declared that Fox had defamed two individuals by calling them "paedophiles" on his social media account.

When Piper was asked what she does when faced with such dramatic situations, she mentioned that her approach involved shutting everything down and keeping a precise schedule with her children to maintain consistency.

The only thing that I am capable of doing is keeping them nearby.

She stated that she struggles to prevent others from divulging information to her, and it proves to be an arduous task.

I am not interested in it, however, people often come to me discussing it. At times, I have to politely decline their conversations and let them know, "Please refrain from discussing this matter with me, both now and in the future."
