The most recent installment of the skating contest on ITV aired on Sunday (January 28th) with Willoughby as the host and her former colleague Stephen Mulhern sharing presenting responsibilities.

Since the new season premiered earlier this month, many fans have been admiring the bond between the hosts. However, their playful actions caused Willoughby to say a curse word after Mulhern startled her. As a result, Willoughby has apologized for her language.

During the show, the host presented Roxy Shahidi, who acted in Emmerdale, and her partner Sylvain Longchambon. At one point, Willoughby commented that they were aiming to scare their competitors.

Out of nowhere, Mulhern let out a deafening scream in front of Willoughby, causing him to jump startled and blurt out an expletive.

Despite what the audience may have thought, the presenter denies using any profanity. In a later segment of the episode, Willoughby directly addressed the matter and stood firm in her conviction that she had not sworn.

The speaker mentioned that earlier Stephen startled her, and it may have seemed like she said something inappropriate. However, she denied saying any such thing and apologized if it came across that way.

Willoughby added, "I will view it again on ITV player as that is where you can access such content. Nonetheless, I apologize!"

Mulhern, who is presently the host of Deal or No Deal's reboot, took over as the host of the skating competition following a scandal that caused Phillip Schofield to sever ties with ITV. The most recent episode showcased all the celebrities and their pro partners, except for one star who had to withdraw, performing on the rink after a week of additional training.

Viewers of the program have taken to X/Twitter to express positive feedback regarding the two individuals, with various individuals applauding their on-camera rapport and establishing that their partnership has enriched the program with a "boost of vitality."

In the TV show 'Dancing on Ice' broadcasted on ITV, Stephen Mulhern caused Holly Willoughby to involuntarily move due to surprise or fright.

One admirer wrote, expressing their love for the dynamic duo of you and Stephen. They further added that the two of you are immensely talented and entertaining.

On January 14th, Willoughby happily greeted Mulhern on the show, exclaiming: "Let's get started! A warm welcome to the most amazing ice show, and a big hello to Stephen Mulhern!"

This is not the initial occasion where the duo have hosted Dancing on Ice in collaboration. Back in 2022, when Schofield took a step back from ITV, Mulhern had a momentary stint as a co-host of the show alongside Willoughby. This happened due to Schofield contracting the Covid-19 virus.

In 2006, Willoughby and Schofield teamed up to compete in their first ice skating competition.
