Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey

Razzie voters, who highlight the worst performances in Hollywood, targeted a scary movie centered around the lovable character Winnie-the-Pooh from children's literature. This occurred during the annual Oscar spoof ceremony.

The 44th Razzies saw Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey take home victories in all five categories it was up for, including best picture, best director, best screenplay, best screen couple, and best remake/rip-off/sequel.

Dennis Harvey, a critic at Variety, gave a scathing review of the Jagged Edge Productions movie. He deemed it a low-quality production that didn't even meet the minimum requirements of its unique concept. Rotten Tomatoes also gave the film a negative review and labeled it as "rotten."

The Razzie Redeemer Award is given to a former nominee who has made impressive progress since their Razzie nod. Actress Fran Drescher, known for her role in The Nanny, won the award for her exceptional leadership as the president of Sag-Aftra during the actors’ strike of 2023.

In the romantic comedy flick The Beautician and the Beast, Drescher was designated for the undesirable title of worst actress back in 1998.

Aaron Goldenberg and Jake Jonez, who are famous for their TikTok alter egos called The Mean Gays, announced that a prominent Hollywood personality successfully guided actors to push for a groundbreaking labor action that resulted in an unparalleled agreement with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP).

The actor Jon Voight from Mercy won a Razzie award for his acting performance because of his Irish accent that sounded like a "Lucky Charms leprechaun". Voight is among the other winners.

Megan Fox was given two awards recently. She received the Razzie award for her role in Johnny & Clyde, and also won the prize for supporting actress in the action movie, Expend4bles.

Sylvester Stallone was awarded the Razzie, which is commonly referred to as the Golden Raspberry, for his performance as a supporting actor in Expend4bles.

According to the Razzie website, over 1,100 members of the Razzie association from various parts of the United States and roughly 24 other nations participate in voting for the awards.
