Tielemans is a Belgian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Leicester City and the Belgium national team. He is widely regarded as one of the most promising young midfielders in world football.

Career

Tielemans started his career at Anderlecht and quickly established himself as a key player in the team. He won two Belgian Pro League titles with the club and was named the league's best young player in 2013. In 2017, he was signed by French club AS Monaco for a reported fee of €25 million. After struggling to find his form at Monaco, he was loaned out to Leicester City in January 2019.

Tielemans quickly became a fan favorite at Leicester and played a key role in the team's impressive 2019/20 season, helping them finish in fifth place and qualify for the Europa League. The club made the loan deal permanent in July 2019 for a club-record fee of £40 million. Tielemans has continued to impress at Leicester, establishing himself as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.
