BYD introduces ATTO 3, Han, and Tang SUV models in Spain!

Spain

Last year, BYD managed to sell over 1.8 million electric vehicles (EVs). Recently, BYD has announced its goal to sell a whopping 3.6 million EVs this year. If they are able to achieve this target, it would be an amazing feat. Most of these sales are expected to occur in their local market, but BYD is also venturing into new markets in other countries around the globe to increase their sales.

Recently, BYD has been making frequent announcements about its expansion into different geographical locations. It has successfully launched various types of electric vehicles in different parts of the world such as India, Thailand, Australia, Austria, New Zealand, Cambodia, Nepal, Laos, Singapore, and many others. This indicates that a considerable amount of effort has been put into preparing for the company's push for new markets.

BYD is making headway in new markets thanks to its focus on forming strategic partnerships with local companies. For instance, Rever Automotive is BYD's partner in Thailand, while Inchcape is working with BYD in Belgium and Luxembourg. In England, Pendragon and BYD have teamed up to advance their mutual interests.

BYD has recently expanded its market to Spain with their electric vehicles. The launch includes three of their latest BEVs, the ATTO 3, Han, and Tang SUV. This latest release in Spain took place on Friday, March 31.

BYD has generously provided three of their top models: the Tang SUV, ATTO 3, and Han flagship sedan.

The BYD ATTO 3 is constructed using the innovative BYD e-Platform 3.0, which is specially created for electric cars. According to BYD, this platform utilizes the benefits of intelligence, efficiency, safety, and aesthetics to improve the performance of electric cars in terms of safety, driving range in low temperatures, and more intelligent driving experiences. The aim is to create more efficient and safer electric vehicles with this new intelligent platform.

According to BYD, the ATTO 3 is a roomy SUV in the C-segment category that blends contemporary looks with outstanding smarts and efficiency made possible by advanced electric vehicle technology and intelligent connectivity. Wolfgang Egger designed it with the European consumer in focus, delivering a chic, amusingly-themed option that comes equipped with an impressive array of standard features.

The ATTO 3 comes with the BYD Blade Battery that has a capacity of 60.48 kWh and a range of 260 miles according to the WLTP combined tests. It also has the ability to charge quickly through DC charging, with a state of charge of 30-80% in just 29 minutes. Moreover, the ATTO 3 has earned a 5-star rating in the Euro NCAP Safety Tests conducted by BYD.

Several Spanish companies, like Astara, Quadis, and Caetano Retail Spain, have joined forces with BYD. In no time, pioneer BYD stores will soon pop up in Madrid and Barcelona. It's wonderful news that BYD is opening a new market for its BEVs. I can't wait to see how their models fare in Spain. I hope to see BYD include the Dolphin in their line-up for Spain, as well as other European countries.

I dislike paywalls just like you do. It seems like nobody enjoys them. Even though we had a limited paywall for a while at CleanTechnica, it didn't sit right with us. We struggled with figuring out what content was valuable enough to put behind it. While it makes sense to reserve the best material for an exclusive audience, the number of people who get to read it decreases. That's why we've made the decision to get rid of our paywall. Regrettably, the media industry continues to be cut-throat, and profits are minimal. It's a constant battle to stay afloat and strive for growth.
