Over the weekend, the renowned comedian Rhod Gilbert, who hails from Carmarthen, paid a delightful visit to his hometown and the picturesque Llansteffan beach.

Rhod, a man hailing from Carmarthen, opted to film the beginning of his stand-up comedy special on Llansteffan beach. The special will be broadcasted on Channel 4's Stand Up To Cancer event on November 3rd.

During a brief break from filming, Rhod mentioned that he has been visiting this place for fifty years now and that he reunites with his pals here every year. He also mentioned that this location holds a special place in his heart as it's where he grew up, and he regards it as his sacred sanctuary. Rhod concluded by saying that he will forever come back to this haven.
