The quick spread of a leaked revenge porn video featuring Georgia Harrison and Stephen Bear was likened to a house fire by the reality star.
Bear, a winner of Celebrity Big Brother in the past, was incarcerated in the Chelmsford Crown Court during March 2023. This came about due to him uploading a video of his sexual encounter with Ms. Harrison on OnlyFans without her permission.
During her appearance before Members of Parliament on the Women and Equalities Committee, she made the statement that when a situation like this arises, it is similar to a fire that is burning in your house. The sooner you are able to extinguish it, the faster it will cease to spread.

The person who is 29 years old said: "I was extremely shocked and upset that someone had done this to me. However, what scared me the most was that these websites were allowing videos of me without my permission to be uploaded to their platform."

Bear, hailing from Loughton, Essex, was convicted of voyeurism and two charges of scrutinizing private sexual photos and videos with the intention of causing distress.

Ms. Harrison spoke to Members of Parliament about the challenge of dealing with social media companies that host pornographic content without providing a reliable way to report non-consensual material. She described it as a major obstacle that needs to be addressed.
According to her statement, any video featuring a person who has not given explicit consent for it to be published on the internet should be removed as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours.
In my opinion, if a situation reaches the point where someone has unauthorized sexually explicit content of me, action should be taken immediately instead of waiting four to six days.
‘My Life Transformed’
According to Ms Harrison, her disturbing experience with revenge porn has left her feeling very apprehensive about the idea of starting a family. She confessed to being plagued by a great deal of anxiety as a result.
She stated that whenever she dates, meets new individuals, or starts a new job, she is recognized as the person who has a sex tape. However, she claims that she never recorded it and never authorized its release.
My life has been significantly altered by this experience, and it now causes me a great deal of anxiety to think about the possibility that my future children - something I've always hoped for - may one day come across this video."
"Currently, the government has not provided sufficient protection for me, making it a pressing concern."
The Department in charge of Science, Innovation and Technology has received a request for a response.
