RIP Joe Kinnear

Yesterday, a sad news was announced about Joe Kinnear who used to be a Director of Football at Oxford United. He passed away at the age of 77.

Oxford United sends heartfelt sympathies to the loved ones and acquaintances of Joe Kinnear, who passed away on 7th April after suffering from dementia.

Kinnear, who is famous for his career as a player for Tottenham Hotspur and as the manager of Newcastle United, was the Director of Football for a short period at United. During the 2000/01 season, he worked mostly alongside David Kemp. However, he resigned from his position in 2001 to take up a role at Luton Town.
