Earl Spencer has disclosed that during their formative years, their childhood caregiver would reprimand them by hitting their heads together if they acted up. This nanny was the one who tended to both Earl Spencer and Diana, Princess of Wales.
During an interview with Laura Kuenssberg on the BBC program Sunday, a 59-year-old man discussed his memoir and recounted his upbringing. He mentioned that the punishment for misbehavior would be severe and cause significant pain. He referred to it as a "cracking crunch."
Earl Spencer pointed out that it highlighted the detachment of parents. However, he did not pass any negative remarks on his mom and dad and justified that it is common for the nanny to handle such situations.
