After some viewers noticed a uncomfortable moment during Jon Bon Jovi's interview on This Morning, Ben Shephard reacted by sharing his response. The iconic rock star appeared on the show on Wednesday (April 17) to mark the anniversary of his band's 40 years in the music industry.

During a conversation with Ben and Cat Deeley, the hosts, Jon shared his thoughts about reviewing old footage for the soon-to-be-released documentary, Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story, available on Hulu and Disney+ later this month. He expressed that it was a touching experience.

Around half a year ago, we gathered to watch a preliminary version of the project. That was when I last viewed it and it stirred up a lot of emotions. The experience had its ups and downs because a successful and fulfilling career lasting four decades requires one to recognize and embrace both the high and low moments.

He said: "People have asked me many times over the course of my career, ‘If you could go back in time, what would you say to your younger self?’ My response is always the same - ‘Take it easy, don't rush, everything will be all right in the end!'"

During a conversation, the topic moved towards Richie Sambora who departed from the band in 2013. The discussion became slightly uncomfortable when his name was mentioned. The three individuals were conversing about Richie's involvement in the recent film where he talked about his rationale for parting ways with the band. Subsequently, the group continued their musical journey with the addition of a new guitarist, Phil X.

Cat and Ben conversed with Bon Jovi and discovered that he was completely unaware of Richie's departure from the band and was stunned when he failed to show up during a performance. Despite the appearance that the lead vocalist preferred not to elaborate on the matter, Ben persisted in questioning Bon Jovi about Richie's exit from the band.

Refusing to discuss the matter further, Bon Jovi abruptly ended the conversation with the host, once again asserting: "I assure you, there was no bad blood." After the interview ended, supporters observed him quickly expressing gratitude to the hosts and then exiting the studio.

Some viewers of "This Morning" noticed that Jon Bon Jovi appeared to put on a fake smile, seemed mildly annoyed, and hurriedly left the set after the interview. One comment even mentioned that he "legged it out of there" while another said he "couldn't have left any faster." Another viewer remarked that Bon Jovi seemed eager to depart from the show as soon as the interview concluded.
