Jon Bon Jovi expressed that looking back on his band's 40-year journey for their documentary has been a sentimental experience, but they are content with the final result.

The story of Bon Jovi's success over the past 40 years as one of the most recognized bands in the world is depicted in the documentary series Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story on Disney+.

The blog section also delves into the unclear fate of the band as they resume their activities in February of next year, with Bon Jovi dealing with a vocal injury that could potentially halt their progress.

During the UK premiere of the series in London, Bon Jovi commented to the PA news agency about the experience of revisiting the past and expressed that it brought forth an emotional response, but ultimately the outcome turned out to be satisfactory.

"Having a profession that has lasted for five decades means that many individuals have accompanied us on this voyage."

There are those who boarded the train right at the start, but due to life's circumstances, they may have disembarked along the way. Meanwhile, there are also those who joined the train at a later point.

It's intriguing to think about the fact that some individuals will be exposed to our message for the first time through this medium, creating a whole new generation of listeners.

The TV show is portrayed as an uncommon peek into the workings of the American rock group. It showcases Bon Jovi during a time when he is particularly susceptible.

Their first album, which was titled after their name, was launched back in 1984. After that, they were able to produce numerous top-charting performances, with renowned songs like Livin’ On A Prayer, It’s My Life, You Give Love A Bad Name, and Thank You For Loving Me.

This documentary show delves into the past by showcasing 40 years worth of personal recordings, original music demos that haven't been published, authentic song lyrics, and never-seen-before photographs that follow their growth from performing at clubs in Jersey Shore to rocking some of the largest stages worldwide.

The blog section will also go back to the past and reflect on the good and bad moments, the successful achievements, the major letdowns, and the instances where conflicts were brought out to the open for the public to witness.

The band members declared that they would launch their 16th album, Forever, this June 7th in honor of their anniversary festivities.

Bon Jovi stated that the band aimed to commemorate their 40th anniversary with some significant ventures since they believed it was worthy of acknowledgment.

He stated: "Our latest album is a source of great pride for us. I believe it's our finest work in two decades."

The vocalist characterized it as a "blissful album" that the band found great satisfaction in creating and producing.

The show is set to debut on April 26th exclusively on Disney+ in the United Kingdom.
