Who is Itamar Ben-Gvir?

Itamar Ben-Gvir is an Israeli lawyer, far-right political activist and a member of the Knesset, the Israeli parliament. He has been vocal about his support for the Jewish extremist group, Kach, which has been classified as a terrorist organisation by the United States, Canada, Israel and the European Union.

Ben-Gvir has been involved in several controversies throughout his career, including clashes with Palestinian activists and advocating for the expulsion of Arabs from Israel. Despite his extremist views, he was elected to the Knesset in 2021 as a member of the Religious Zionist Party.
