At the Miami Open, Andy Murray secured an outstanding victory against Tomas Martin Etcheverry in straight sets, which is his best win of the year.

Murray easily defeated the Argentinian player, who is ranked at number 30 in the world. He won the match 7-6 (0) 6-3, but the game was stopped a couple of times because of rain. With this victory, Murray advances to the third round.

The man from Scotland, who is 36 years old, got some payback for his loss against the identical opponent during the initial stage of the Australian Open back in January.

In the subsequent round, Murray will go up against Tomas Machac, a young player from the Czech Republic who managed to defeat Andrey Rublev, the world number six from Russia.

The attempt made by Jack Draper, a fellow citizen of Britain, was brought to an end by Nicolas Jarry.

Jarry, who currently ranks as the 23rd best tennis player globally in the ATP rankings and hails from Chile, emerged victorious over Draper, a 22-year-old player. The hard-fought match saw Jarry come out on top after three sets, with the scoreline reading 7-6 (5), 4-6, 7-6 (2).
