Kate Garraway from ITV has just spoken out for the first time following the passing of her spouse, Derek Draper.
During her initial appearance on ITV's Good Morning Britain after her husband's demise, Kate Garraway spoke about the exceptional courage displayed by her children.
She spoke from her home through a video, expressing that her family's feelings are extremely high, at a level of 110%, following Derek Draper's funeral that took place on Friday.
In January, Draper passed away due to severe difficulties caused by Covid.
The TV presenter is set to resume his hosting duties on Thursday, sharing the stage with Ben Shephard.
During a moving conversation, Garraway expressed that she experienced a moment of wanting time to stand still upon discovering that her husband's passing was imminent.
Discussing the end moments, Garraway mentioned that her daughter Darcey, who is currently 17 years old, reassured her father by saying, "Don't concern yourself with us. Don't be anxious about mum. We will be okay because your essence resides within us."
