On Saturday, Manchester City, who are competing with Chelsea for the title, won 3-1 against Manchester United, which gave them a three-point lead. However, Chelsea also won against West Ham, which puts them on top of the table due to having a better goal difference by two goals. This puts Emma Hayes' team in a good position to compete for the title.

The visiting team got in the lead in just two minutes with a goal from Aggie Beever-Jones. Later on, in the 88th minute, Erin Cuthbert scored a goal that sealed the win as her shot landed in the top part of the net.

Coach Hayes said that he is not going to be tough on his team as they have a game every three days.

If you keep doing something repeatedly, I don't believe every single attempt will be amazing, but you persevere through it. I am extremely satisfied with my team.

To become the champions, it is essential to come to this place and conquer it. I was aware of what the match would entail, thus congratulations to our team.

"I want to show them some appreciation. Usually, I can be strict with them, but today I am genuinely happy with their work."

During the final stretch, Chelsea will face off against Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, and Manchester United in away matches, with only two remaining games after that. Manchester City will be at home for four out of their remaining six games, one of which is against Arsenal.

Chelsea is also contending for their first Champions League championship.
