ZkMe Secures $2M In Pre-Seed Capital

Seed money

Hong Kong's zkMe got $2M in Pre-Seed funding. They're a zero-knowledge Identity Oracle provider.

Circle Venture, Spartan Group, CMS Holdings, Fenbushi Capital, NGC Ventures, Arkstream Capital and other venture capital firms supported the project.

The funds will be used by the company to finish testing. They will also onboard customers on the mainnet in one month.

Alex Scheer leads zkMe, which offers users control over their digital identities. They can share their credentials securely with authorized parties without risking their privacy. The tech has multiple potential applications, like anti-sybil protection, GameFi integrations, and DeFi KYC compliance. The mobile app uses ZKPs to encrypt and anonymize data, allowing users to prove their claims on their device. This prevents anyone from accessing sensitive information. MPC nodes verify the ZKPs before they are minted onto the user wallet as an SBT.
