Paul Rudd recently discussed his role as a loving father and shared that he accompanied his teenage daughter, Darby, to attend Taylor Swift's Eras Tour last summer. While promoting his latest movie Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire with MTV, he was questioned regarding his fandom towards Swift. The interviewer inquired if he was an avid Swiftie or just a supporter due to his unwavering loyalty to the Kansas City Chiefs - Taylor's favorite NFL team, as well as his own.

Rudd, along with other celebrities, has gone to stadiums to watch the Eras show and he thinks that Swift is a great performer. When asked if he joins in when the audience sings along to Swift's songs, he said yes, he does. He particularly likes singing along to "Mastermind" from Midnights, and to "Cruel Summer," just like everyone else.

Rudd continued naming songs and shouted out "The Archer", a track from Taylor Swift's 2019 album "Lover", and "August" from her pandemic album "Folklore". He joked that he was just going through the list of songs that start with the letter A.

Although Rudd is a big fan of Taylor Swift, he was surpassed by Stephen Colbert's loyalty to the singer during an appearance on The Late Show last week. Colbert reminisced about taking his 14-year-old daughter, Madeline, to the Grammys in 2008 where Taylor was incredibly kind to her. Colbert expressed his devotion to Taylor by stating that he would do anything for her, including committing murder if she requested it. He referred to her as his queen.

Rudd didn't say he was extremely loyal, but he told Colbert that seeing Swift dating KC's tight end Travis Kelce and bringing the world's attention to his favorite NFL team is definitely a positive thing. "This whole situation is extremely thrilling," Rudd remarked. "I read stories about fathers and their daughters who enjoy watching football together, and it always tugs at my heartstrings."
