The host of Good Morning Britain and her kin are hoping for a miracle as Derek, who contracted Covid-19 during the initial stages of the pandemic in 2020, has recently experienced another health issue.

Kate, a 56-year-old woman, has decided to cancel all of her TV and radio engagements so that she can be there to watch over her loved one around the clock. She is determined to support him through this difficult time and is hoping for him to come out victorious in his struggle against illness.

Derek has engaged in numerous battles, and each time he has emerged victorious despite facing unfavorable circumstances.

He entered a state of unconsciousness and required assistance with breathing after becoming infected with the coronavirus. He remained in the hospital for 13 months, making him the individual in Britain who endured the longest amount of suffering from the disease.

The infection resulted in swelling of the brain, malfunction of the kidneys, and harm to the liver and pancreas. Furthermore, a medical examination conducted on the brain last year uncovered white blotches, which are typically observed in individuals who have vascular dementia.

For the past three and a half years, his health has been extremely bad that he struggles to breathe without any help.
