It appears that Darwin Nunez has removed all posts on his Instagram account that are related to Liverpool. However, there is a single photo that remains on the account.

Nunez has received a lot of negative feedback lately due to his inability to score goals in the critical last third of the game. This was happening at the same time as other players on the team, like Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz, were having trouble making their chances count when it mattered most.

On Sunday, Nunez came in as a replacement during the match against Tottenham Hotspur. Unfortunately, he was flagged offside right after he came in and then missed an opportunity to score. This season, the 24-year-old has been caught offside 32 times in the Premier League, which is more than anyone else. Additionally, he has missed the second-highest number of important chances, with a total of 27.

Recently, there has been discussion about what will happen to the ex-Benfica forward as his second season with the club has not shown a lot of improvement. This player was previously considered their most expensive purchase. Liverpool originally spent £64.1m on Nunez in June 2022, but this could increase to £85m with added fees.

It is uncertain if Nunez's recent activity on social media indicates something about his future plans. However, he has decided to get rid of all his photographs showing him playing for Liverpool, except for one. The sole picture that he hasn't removed features him at the AXA Training Centre right after joining the club in 2022. All the photos of Nunez during his time at Benfica and also those where he represents his country are still available for viewing.

When questioned about Nunez and Salah's challenges when it comes to scoring towards the end of April, Klopp shared with the media: "It's not easy. Every striker faces these obstacles at some point. Unfortunately, it's part of the game."

The existence of a striker is such that when they score, people applaud them, but when they don't, they are questioned about their performance. However, for a goalkeeper, no matter how many saves they make, one error can draw attention and criticism. This is how different their experiences can be.

Sometimes, achieving a certain goal can be remarkably arduous, while on other occasions it can be a cakewalk - everything really boils down to opportunity. We encountered favorable circumstances when confronting Everton, yet we still struggled to effectively finish them off in a hasty manner.

Keep creating, keep trying to get in the correct positions to conclude opportunities. It's a daunting task to write about a striker's resurgence. It requires persevering. I aim to assist them in speeding up the process. However, that doesn't imply that the lads are of poor quality.
