Ferrari wants to be carbon neutral by 2030. They are building a facility in Maranello called the "e-building". This facility will make components for electric and hybrid cars. They will make motors, battery packs and inverters. Ferrari will still make their own powertrain components for electric cars. They want to be the best in the industry. The new facility will also make the first fully-electric Ferrari car. It will be online next summer. The car won't be ready until 2025. It might be an SUV.
Ferrari needs EV parts for upcoming model & current ones like 296 GTB, SF90 Stradale. They want a 60% EV/hybrid split by 2026 and 80% by 2030 with equal share. New Ferrari models will have batteries. There'll still be gas cars too, but we don't know details yet.
