Chelsea needs to recover from their recent disappointing game as they prepare to take on Everton at home in Stamford Bridge tonight. Mauricio Pochettino's team is still trying to qualify for European football, even though they've had a very uneven season. If Chelsea wins their next game, they'll be only three points behind Newcastle, who is currently in sixth place. Chelsea will also have another game to play later. Enzo Fernandez and Axel Disasi won't be able to play in today's match. Additionally, Raheem Sterling won't be playing because of an illness.

Everton won four points in their last two games to make their worries about getting relegated a bit easier. Currently, they are two points ahead of the last three teams, but they have two more games remaining than Nottingham Forest and Luton. Tonight, they are playing in west London and will be eager to take home a win. To get real-time updates and insights from Nizaar Kinsella, check out the LIVE blog on Standard Sport.

Chelsea played an outstanding first half to convey a strong message to their FA Cup rivals, Man City, as well as Newcastle, Man United and West Ham in the fight for European football.

I am pleasantly surprised by the successful outcome of Pochettino's recent actions.

The only downside I see with Everton's game is that they have been in control of attacking set-pieces, but unfortunately their execution in finishing those opportunities has been extremely poor.

It's the end of the game, in case it wasn't already apparent.

Cucurella advances towards the left flank of the field and sends a pass towards the center. Jackson skillfully traps the ball and then promptly turns around, launching a precise shot that flies past the keeper, Pickford.

After 43 minutes, the VAR is reviewing something inside the penalty area. The referee has temporarily stopped the game just before Everton takes a corner kick.

Gallagher is gripping his neck - he believes that Onana may have clasped onto it. In due time, the situation is resolved and the subsequent corner is also resolved.

After 41 minutes of play, Mudryk added his name to the list of players who have been booked for stopping an Everton counter-attack.

McNeil takes the free-kick and sends it towards the rear of the goal area. Tarkowski outmuscles Palmer and kicks the ball towards the opposite side of the goal. Unfortunately, no one from Everton is present to score the goal.

A single contact resulted in a score of 3-1.

After 39 minutes, Jackson cleverly maneuvers past Branthwaite and has an opening to take a shot. However, his touch on the ball is too forceful as he approaches the penalty area.

A player from Chelsea falls down, trying to get a penalty, but the referees quickly reject his request.

At 8:38 PM, Matt Verri When we hear something, our brain tries to interpret the sound that we receive from our ears. This is how we understand speech, music, and all other kinds of sounds. However, some people struggle with this process and have difficulty distinguishing one sound from another. This is called auditory processing disorder. The brain tries to make sense of the sounds we hear. We rely on this to understand speech, music, and other sounds. But, individuals with auditory processing disorder might have trouble with this process and may not be able to distinguish between different sounds.

In about 37 minutes into the game, there were a considerable number of Everton players who were quite agitated. Gallagher managed to get past Young, but the latter didn't seem to be too keen on running after him and, as a result, tripped him. A yellow card was given.

The Toffees have had a forgettable first half of the season.

At 8:37 PM, Matt Verri There are endless possibilities when it comes to decorating your home. From choosing the right color palette to incorporating statement pieces, every detail matters. One simple way to add some personality to your space is by hanging art on the walls. When it comes to choosing art, think about what speaks to you. It doesn't have to be an expensive piece from a fancy gallery - it could be a print you found at a thrift store or a photograph you took on vacation. The important thing is that it resonates with you and adds something meaningful to your home. When hanging art, consider the size and placement. A large piece will make a statement on its own, while a small collection of pieces can create a beautiful gallery wall. And don't be afraid to mix and match styles - a modern painting can look great next to a vintage photograph. In the end, the art you choose should reflect your personality and style. It's a great way to infuse your home with character and make it uniquely yours.

Everton believed that there was a chance.

A youngster passes a ball into the box from the right, Beto jumps higher than Chalobah and uses his head to score a goal past Petrovic.

That was indeed an offside, but Beto won't be getting any help from the VAR.

In just 32 minutes, a flawless hat-trick was scored. It was accomplished through a left foot shot, a header, and a right foot strike to complete the performance.

Everton is going to have a tough time as Chelsea is confidently passing the ball. It's pretty evident that Chelsea is in high spirits.

Jordan Pickford made a big mistake by passing the ball directly to Cole Palmer. With a smooth first touch, Palmer then kicked the ball into the goal from a distance of 35 yards. This resulted in Palmer scoring three goals within 29 minutes.

At this moment, he is only trailing by one goal in the competition for the golden boot compared to Erling Haaland.

Do you think he's trying to communicate something to Manchester City before the semi-final?

Chelsea Dominates Everton With 3-0 Win | Cole Palmer Scores At 29'

In just 28 minutes into the game, Garner flew towards Palmer and tackled him from behind unfairly. As a result, the referee issued a yellow card to the Everton midfielder.

At 8:27 PM, Matt Verri wrote a blog post.

There was a period in the match that was a bit messy, with both teams losing possession of the ball frequently.

Palmer is moving freely across the field, playing in any position he pleases. He has the ability to create a positive outcome whenever he makes contact with the ball.

Jackson grabs the ball from a distance of 25 yards, strikes a shot towards the net. But the ball goes above and beyond the goalpost.

"Chelsea Scores Twice Against Everton: Cole Palmer At 18'"

At 8:22 pm, Matt Verri wrote a blog post.

The objective has dramatically altered the atmosphere of the game, as Chelsea seem to be brimming with self-assurance all at once.

As Caicedo made a quick run in the midfield, Coleman pulled him down. Now they are at the 30-yard mark. Is it too far for Palmer to aim? Also, the left-footed angle does not seem to be in his favor.

Chelsea is known for her great patience despite being brief in her conversations.

Here, the game became lively as Mudryk passed the ball back. Jackson took a shot which was stopped by the goalkeeper, but Palmer was able to score with the rebound by heading the ball into the net.

Nizaar Kinsella Visits Stamford Bridge

It's currently 8:21 PM, according to Matt Verri.

Cole Palmer is an outstanding football player. He managed to score in seven consecutive home league games, making him the first person in Chelsea's history to accomplish this impressive feat.

I haven't witnessed any player lift the Blues team in such a manner ever since Eden Hazard.

He is relentlessly pursuing the Premier League's top scorer award - that particular goal resembled a late run made by Frank Lampard into the box.

At 8:17 PM, Matt Verri wrote the blog post.

After just fifteen minutes of play, the scoreline should have shown two goals in favor of the team.

Chelsea is currently in great form. The driving force behind the team's success is Madueke. He was passed the ball by Mudryk, who had made a clever and well-timed run.

Palmer received the ball from a square pass, but unfortunately he was unable to put it into the goal from a close range of just two yards. He blocked himself from shooting the ball into the empty goalpost.

Chelsea Secures Early Lead With Cole Palmer's Goal

At 8:14 PM, Matt Verri wrote in the blog section.

Chelsea has scored the first goal, and it was none other than Palmer!

The goal was absolutely amazing! The player did some skillful footwork to get past Branthwaite, passed the ball to Jackson and Palmer, then elegantly curled it into the net from outside the penalty box, beyond Pickford's reach.

In just 10 minutes, there is an immense opportunity that cannot be missed.

Everton deserves to be leading the game. They made an impressive move, especially after Gusto lost possession of the ball.

The young player, Young, makes a slide tackle and passes the ball to Coleman who is running alongside him. Coleman kicks the ball towards the goal post and Beto, who is positioned a few yards away from the goal, manages to block the ball, saving his team from conceding a goal.

It's currently 8:07 PM, according to Matt Verri.

In just six minutes, there were cries of disappointment heard at Stamford Bridge when Gusto passed the ball back to Petrovic, and Beto almost had a chance to intercept it.

In my opinion, this group can become easily annoyed with just a small trigger.

Moises Caicedo made a great play by winning possession of the ball near the opponent's goal, which gave Noni Madueke the chance to run towards the defence and force them to concede a corner kick.

Pickford is already taking a long time to take goal-kicks. It is likely that Chelsea fans will become annoyed with this behavior soon.

"Chelsea's Transfer Tactics Under Review"

At 7:32 PM, Matt Verri wrote in the blog section.

Mauricio Pochettino has indicated that Chelsea may consider recruiting mature players during the upcoming summer season.

Last week, the Argentine coach expressed disappointment in his team's lack of maturity when they failed to hold onto their lead twice during a 2-2 draw against Sheffield United.

Pochettino changed his attitude by acknowledging the importance of being optimistic and careful when criticizing Chelsea, who are still in the running for a spot in the Europa League or Conference League.

Pochettino started speaking to reporters about how they could continue with the same approach of signing young players for their policy.

Looking at our team line-up, we have the talented Thiago Silva, the skilled Raheem Sterling, and the dedicated Marcus Bettinelli. Even though Marcus may not be on the field, he plays a significant role in guiding and assisting our younger players.

Our team includes skilled players who possess a wealth of experience. Having such players doesn't conflict with our plans. They are crucial in mentoring and guiding the younger members of our team, teaching them how to compete at a professional level, and instilling in them a sense of what it means to play in the Premier League as a Chelsea player.

This season, Chelsea's defense has allowed a total of 52 goals in the Premier League. They have also allowed goals in their last seven games without fail.

Pochettino expressed some concern about his team's defensive record, stating that it may not be ideal.

In my opinion, when the season began, the main difficulty was to successfully put the ball in the net.

Our defense was not up to par in previous matches. Nowadays, the way football is being played in the Premier League has changed significantly.

Our goal is to emerge victorious tonight and secure the victory in our upcoming match. We started with high expectations, but the truth is that our reality is somewhat different from what we anticipated.

Stamford Bridge Gears Up For A Busy Summer

At 6:40 pm, Matt Verri wrote this section for the blog.

If Chelsea needs to sell their homegrown stars in order to generate quick cash this summer, they will not be pressured into finding a new team immediately.

To prevent financial breaches, Chelsea may opt to sell Conor Gallagher, Trevoh Chalobah, Ian Maatsen, and Armando Broja.

According to rumours, Chelsea must gather £100 million from selling their players by the end of June. This is necessary to include the sales in their financial records for the 2023-24 period.

The young players from the academy are considered a very valuable asset for the football club. However, some of these players are concerned that they will be the first ones to be sold off. Fortunately, it has been reported that Gallagher, Chalobah, Maatsen, and Broja have made it clear that they will only consider the right opportunity before leaving the club.

Many people think Gallagher's worth is from £45m to £50m. Last year, Tottenham attempted to recruit him, and he wants to join a well-regarded Premier League team.

This summer, the midfielder's contract enters its final year, and negotiations for a new deal have made little headway. The player aspires to make it onto the England squad for the Euro 2024 competition and prefers not to talk about his future during the tournament.

Sterling Capable Of Playing At Home, Pochettino Says

At twenty-seven minutes past six in the evening, Matt Verri wrote the blog post.

Mauricio Pochettino says he is not scared to put Raheem Sterling on the field at Stamford Bridge, even though he has kept him on the sidelines since he was jeered by the crowd during the Leicester game.

The man who is 29 years of age hasn't been in the starting line-up since he performed badly before the international break. This led to a negative reaction of boos and jeers from a significant number of fans at the home game.

Sterling came in as a substitute during the games against Burnley and Manchester United, but he was not used during the match against Sheffield United last Sunday.

Pochettino explained to reporters that the reason for Noni Madueke getting the opportunity to play was because they evaluated the performance of all the players and wanted to be just in their decision-making.

"We need to find a way to better support Cole Palmer by potentially changing his position. We're considering placing someone on the left side of the field, but we will evaluate the player's performance before making any final decisions. This change is only being made to improve our overall strategy."

The current circumstances do not influence my decision. I believe the team is not experiencing any negative effects due to this. I base my choices solely on the performance of the player. It is important for me to analyze their capabilities and make my decision accordingly.

It's currently 6:19 PM, according to Matt Verri.

Chelsea has decided to extend the lengthy contracts of Enzo Fernandez and Mykhailo Mudryk beyond their 30s.

New information from FA documents has shown that Fernandez has an impressive eight years remaining on his current contract, which is worth £180,000 per week and will continue until 2032. Similarly, Mudryk has seven years left on his £97,000-per-week deal, which is set to run until 2031.

When Fernandez's contract comes to an end, he will be 31 years old, and Mudryk will be 30 years old when his contract expires.

In January 2023, Chelsea made a move to acquire Fernandez for a whopping £106.8 million from Benfica. During the same transfer window, Mudryk joined Chelsea from Shakhtar Donetsk for a fee of £88.5 million.

It's uncertain why Chelsea decided to prolong the contracts of their players even though there was a considerable amount of time left on their original deals.

Everton Contests Second Points Reduction

It's currently 6:06 pm according to Matt Verri's post.

Everton has officially submitted an official request to dispute the two-point deduction implemented on the team in recent weeks for violating financial regulations of the Premier League.

Last Monday, the Everton team showed that they will appeal against the sanctions given to them on the same day the punishment was declared. Currently, the club has verified that they have made an appeal.

The team acknowledged that they broke the Premier League's profitability and sustainability regulations (PSR) by overspending allowed losses by a sum of £16.6 million during the evaluation period that concludes with the 2022-23 season.

The sanction was imposed by an independent commission. In the reasons written for their decision, it was disclosed that the Premier League had originally requested a five-point penalty.

The commission decided to lower the number of penalties to two, taking into consideration the efforts made to make the situation better. One important factor was that the club was being penalized for the same issue twice, during the same time frame. Last February, Everton had faced a penalty of ten points due to breaking the PSR rules, but on appeal, the number was reduced to six.

It's not easy to feel sure about forecasting the outcome of a Chelsea match at the moment, but they have plenty of strength in their attacking abilities compared to this Everton squad.

The home games played by the Blues have been quite remarkable, and they have a good chance of winning again on this occasion.

My prediction is that Chelsea will emerge victorious with a 2-1 scoreline.

Regarding Everton, Arnaut Danjuma, Dele Alli, and Lewis Dobbin will continue to be absent.

There's a chance that the midfield could benefit from a two-fold increase - Amadou Onana and Idrissa Gueye are expected to make a comeback.

James Garner and Dominic Calvert-Lewin didn't attend training due to minor injuries last week, but they're expected to join the team in upcoming games.

At 5:43 PM, Matt Verri wrote in the blog section.

There will be no Axel Disasi and Enzo Fernandez for Chelsea tonight.

The pair brings up the tally of potential missing players for Mauricio Pochettino to 11, with Raheem Sterling and Robert Sanchez being in significant doubt due to their illness.

Disasi, who has always been injury-free throughout his career until he joined Chelsea, has been absent from training since the 2-2 draw against Sheffield United. Fernandez has also been missing from training.

Ben Chilwell is involved in a type of training with some of his teammates, but he may only be ready to sit on the sidelines during the next game. Levi Colwill, Wesley Fofana, Reece James, Romeo Lavia, Christopher Nkunku and Lesley Ugochukwu are all still injured and won't be able to join the team at this time.

Malo Gusto is coming back into the game after taking a break on Sunday, and he is joining a defense line-up with Trevoh Chalobah, Thiago Silva, and Marc Cucurella, who are the only experienced defenders currently available.

Projected Chelsea Starting Lineup: Petrovic manning the goal post, Gusto, Chalobah, Silva, and Cucurella fortifying the defense wall, Caicedo and Gallagher controlling the midfield, Palmer, Mudryk, and Madueke leading the attacking unit with Jackson joining the fray as well.
