Bayer Leverkusen had a great time during carnival weekend in Rhineland by securing an outstanding 3-0 victory against Bayern Munich. This win enabled them to move ahead of their rivals by five points in the Bundesliga standings.

Josip Stanisic, who is currently on loan from Bayern, was able to score the first goal in the 18th minute against a defence that appeared stationary. Alex Grimaldo then doubled the lead, scoring five minutes into the second half.

At the end of the game, Manuel Neuer went up for a corner, but he missed the ball. Jeremie Frimpong took advantage of this and scored a goal into an empty net, which caused some excitement and surprise among the players and fans alike. An exclamation point was definitely added to the game because of this unexpected turn of events in stoppage time.

RB Leipzig are currently positioned just three points away from securing a spot in the top four teams, following their recent match against Augsburg which ended in a 2-2 draw.

In the 35th minute, Phillip Tietz scored a goal for Augsburg, resulting in them taking the lead. However, Lois Openda quickly responded and equalised soon afterward. Seven minutes into the second half, Benjamin Sesko scored a goal for Leipzig, which gave them the lead. Nevertheless, Ermedin Demirovic scored a goal for Augsburg around an hour into the game, which led to the game ending in a tie.

After 14 minutes, Omar Marmoush scored a goal for Eintracht, which put them in the lead. However, only three minutes later, Moritz Broschinski scored a goal which equalized the score, and it remained that way until the end of the game.

Union Berlin managed to avoid any problems by securing a narrow victory over Wolfsburg with Danilho Doekhi scoring the only goal just before half-time.

Heidenheim managed to secure a victory over Werder Bremen with goals from Lennard Maloney and Jan-Niklas Beste. Romano Schmid scored for Werder Bremen, but their efforts were not enough to outdo Heidenheim. The three goals were all made within a span of six minutes.

Borussia Monchengladbach and Darmstadt had a game that ended with no goals being scored.

Real Madrid won a resounding 4-0 victory against Girona, with Jude Bellingham netting his 19th and 20th goals of the season. This puts Real Madrid five points ahead at the top of LaLiga.

Vinicius played a crucial role in assisting Bellingham's two goals, including scoring the opening one. Rodrygo also contributed and scored the fourth goal. In the end, Girona faced only their second league loss of the season as Joselu missed a penalty in the final moments of the game.

In the 49th minute, Ante Budimir scored a goal, which led Osasuna to a 1-0 victory against Real Sociedad. Alaves and Villarreal drew 1-1 after Jorge Cuenca managed to cancel out Samu's strike.

Las Palmas managed to defeat Valencia 2-0 after scoring two last-minute goals, allowing them to surpass Valencia in the league standings. Alex Suarez was responsible for breaking the deadlock in the 89th minute, and Marc Cardona swiftly followed up with a second goal during the fifth minute of added time.

Inter Milan, currently atop Serie A, turned the tables on Roma in the second half, rebounding from a deficit to secure a 4-2 victory and an even more sizable lead of seven points in the standings.

Francesco Acerbi scored a header to give Inter the lead 17 minutes into the game. However, Roma's Gianluca Mancini scored the equalizer before Stephan El Shaarawy's goal put Roma ahead just before halftime.

In the second half of the game, Marcus Thuram scored to equalize just four minutes later. However, Inter regained their advantage when Angelino accidentally scored an own goal in the 56th minute. Alessandro Bastoni secured their win with a goal in injury time.

With their 3-1 victory over Cagliari, Roma now hold a narrow one-point lead over Lazio, their neighboring team.

Lazio took the lead in the 26th minute thanks to a goal scored by Alessandro Deoila, unfortunately for him, it was an own goal. Ciro Immobile scored another goal early in the second half, increasing Lazio's lead. However, Gianluca Gaetano managed to score a goal shortly after, decreasing the gap. Nevertheless, Felipe Anderson's goal in the 65th minute helped Lazio remain calm and secure their victory.

Sassuolo moved out of the danger zone with one point after playing to a 1-1 draw with Torino. Andrea Pinamonti scored early on, but Duvan Zapata leveled the score shortly after.

Paris St Germain extended their lead by 11 points in the Ligue 1 after defeating Lille 3-1. PSG's star player, Kylian Mbappe did not feature in the match.

The game started with Yusuf Yazici scoring first for the visiting team, but Goncalo Ramos quickly tied the score. Unfortunately, Alexsandro, who had made a mistake in PSG's first goal, worsened the situation by accidentally scoring an own goal. The match was sealed by Randal Kolo Muani, with Mbappe being left out of the game by the coach as a precautionary measure for their upcoming Champions League match against Real Sociedad on Wednesday.

Lens maintained their position in sixth place after defeating Strasbourg 3-1. The team gained control of the game after scoring two goals from Elye Wahi and David Costa within the first thirty minutes. Despite Strasbourg's Thomas Delaine scoring a goal before halftime, the game ended with Florian Sotoca scoring the final goal.
