Alfie Gilchrist's successful season at Chelsea progressed as he permanently relocated to the first-team locker room at Cobham earlier this month.

A young player of 20 years old, who became a part of Chelsea's youth division in the year 2014 and signed a new agreement for a long-term recently, has been having an outstanding season playing for Mauricio Pochettino's team. He had his Premier League debut in December during a victory against Crystal Palace with a score of 2-1, and after that, he also played six more matches with them.

Last week, Gilchrist experienced a significant breakthrough in his campaign when he was permanently relocated to Chelsea's main dressing room. A picture of his freshly designed locker was shared on social media by teammate Noni Madueke.

Madueke shared on her Instagram story the success of her brother Gilchrist, applauding his impressive season in West London. She congratulated him with the message "Congrats gg."

In a conversation with Chelseafc.com, Gilchrist discusses how incredible it was to step foot on the field for his debut. He reminisces on how his first touch was a successful tackle and his second was a powerful hit. He emphasizes the importance of making a strong first impression and hoping that from there, everything will fall into place.

When I accepted the tough task, the crowd cheered and I immediately got back up to attempt it again. My goal was to either make a tackle or block."
