Emirates A380 makes a long-awaited return to Glasgow Airport

Today, the biggest airplane in the world made its first landing at Glasgow Airport in many years.

At 12:38 pm today, the Emirates A380 airplane landed because there are more people wanting to fly to Dubai. So, the airline will bring the aircraft back again.

This enormous airplane has two levels and stands at a height of over 24 meters. It has the ability to transport up to 517 individuals.

The plane hasn't taken off from Glasgow since September 2019.

Glasgow Airport gave visitors an opportunity to enjoy free parking for six hours while they witnessed the landing, attracting a large crowd of enthusiastic viewers.

Some people were asked to witness the airplane's entry on the airport property. Among them was Frazer Robertson, a pal of the pilot, who brought along his two kids named Caleb and Daniel.

According to Frazer, who is from Musselburgh, this is the initial instance where they have laid eyes on the airplane. They have journeyed via multiple times before.

The aircraft is incredible; it's truly remarkable that something of this size can lift off the ground. Additionally, it is incredibly large.

"It's amazing and I really hope to have the opportunity to experience flying in it someday."

In the meantime, Ellis who is aged 11 and hails from Airdrie, was extended an invitation along with her father.
