People who really enjoy airplanes and want to see the huge A380 double decker plane back at Glasgow Airport this Sunday are being given an incentive. They can park their car for free and are encouraged to walk to their chosen spot for watching the plane.

The widely recognized 'super jumbo' aircraft is making a return to service on Emirates' route to Dubai for the summertime, marking its first appearance since September of 2019.

The aircraft is planned to land at 12:45 and depart once more at 14:35.

The authorities in charge of Glasgow Airport are disclosing information about the specific locations situated along the edges of the airport's airfield where individuals who enjoy watching airplanes, aka "plane spotters", can congregate and enjoy the spectacle.

To prevent individuals from obstructing nearby roads and hindering emergency services' access, an incentive is being presented to observers. They can enjoy six hours of free parking in the Long Stay parking lot located on Arran Avenue starting from 11am.

It is not allowed to wait or park on the outer roads of the airfield, specifically Barnsford Road, Abbotsinch Road, and Walkinshaw Road.

To ensure smooth traffic flow, vehicles that block the way or parked too close to the fence will be towed away.

In order to obtain a better view, photographers are prohibited from leaning their ladders against the fence. Furthermore, the use of drones within a 5km radius of any UK airfield is strictly forbidden.
