Kendrick Lamar has intensified his dispute with Drake by launching a second track that disses the Canadian sensation in just seven days - this time setting his sights on Drake's circle of close associates.

He recently dropped a fresh tune on Instagram called “6:16 in LA” that spoofs Drake’s popular “timestamp songs” like “8 AM in Charlotte” from 2023 or “5 AM in Toronto” from 2015.

Pushing the controversy up a level after the intense "Euphoria," Kendrick targets Drake's music label, OVO Sound. The label is managed by Drake with a big group of musicians, pals, and affiliates signed on. Kendrick throws some digs their way.

Lamar recently released a song in which he questions whether OVO, Drake's record label, was truly supporting him. He goes on to label Drake as a "phony aggressor" and suggests that he has a negative character.

"He says that your entire team is talking about how you deserve this," he goes on, saying that Drake "won't be able to dance his way out of this situation with his 'Toosie Slide'."

Lamar proposes that the individuals Drake is associated with cannot be relied upon and that if the rapper had knowledge of street smarts, he would realize that approximately twenty individuals in his entourage are attempting to cheat him.

During the year 2015, Drake got embroiled in a conflict with Meek Mill. Before Mill could even react, Drake launched two diss tracks named "Charged Up" and "Back to Back".

Lamar alludes to the well-known rivalry in "6:16 LA", utilizing comparable techniques in his new song that follows "Euphoria".

"I really enjoy listening to 'Back To Back' song. I will make sure to listen to it again later, just to be clear," he rapped.

For a great number of years, Drake and Lamar have been engaged in an ongoing conflict.

During the month of March, Lamar released a song where he targeted Drake and J Cole, his competitors in the rap industry. He mentioned that these two rappers are not a part of the "big three" of rap music and he is the only one who holds that title.

The track entitled "Like That" was featured on the album We Don't Trust You, which was a joint effort between Future and Metro Boomin.

Lamar was giving a direct reply to the verse J Cole delivered on "First Person Shooter" track featured in Drake's 2023 music album called For All The Dogs.

In that particular tune, Cole expressed in his lyrics: "I derive pleasure from witnessing their heated disputes over who is the top MC / Could it be K-Dot? Could it be Aubrey? Or could it be me? / The three of us are like the founders of a basketball league, but at present, I feel like I'm the great Muhammad Ali."

K-Dot is Lamar's nick while Aubrey is the real name of Drake.
