Dolly Parton fulfills man with terminal cancer's wish in emotional video

"Hello LG, this is Dolly P. I understand that you have been a follower of mine for quite some time, and I just wanted to express my gratitude for your support," she conveyed with kindness during their pleasant phone conversation.
LeGrand Gold and his loved ones have faced numerous challenges during the holiday season, however, they received an unexpected call from the renowned musician Dolly Parton which made it an unforgettable Christmas.
According to KSL TV in Salt Lake City, Gold, who was raised in Tennessee, has been struggling with cancer for the past couple of years. Recently, he was informed by his doctor that the cancer has worsened and spread.
Gold revealed to the media that the screenings demonstrated the cancer's advancement beyond his liver. It turned out that chemotherapy and radiation treatments had ceased producing any positive outcomes. Consequently, he was discharged from the hospital and advised to spend quality time with his loved ones.

Gold had a list of ten things he wished to do while still alive, and one of them was meeting Dolly Parton, a fellow Tennessee native. However, Gold didn't think this wish would ever come true.

Not long ago, a phone call came in for Gold, and it was none other than the acclaimed musician, Parton. LG was all ears as Parton exchanged kind sentiments with him. She even belted out a portion of her hit song, "I Will Always Love You," while they were on the line.
"I'm pleased to hear that I have such a dedicated supporter," expressed Parton. "Hi LG, this is Dolly P. I understand that you've admired my work for quite some time, and I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for your support."

Gold still has a few items remaining on his List of Living, but he's unsure whether he'll be able to accomplish them all. However, he can now say that he has fulfilled No. 7 - "Encounter Dolly Parton."
