Dolly Parton has put a lot of effort into promoting her latest album, Rockstar. Her marketing strategy has been meticulously planned, almost like a military operation. The well-known country music icon has made numerous appearances as part of her promotional efforts, such as a one-hour-long interview on ABC earlier this month and a performance of “Rocky Top,” the Volunteers’ rally song, at the University of Tennessee’s Neyland Stadium last weekend. Dolly didn't stop there, and on Thanksgiving Day, she continued to promote her album by entertaining the audience at the Dallas Cowboys – Washington Commanders NFL game halftime show, held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

And boy oh boy, did she make an impressive arrival.

At 77 years of age, Parton put on the well-known blue-and-white vest and short shorts of the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders for her performance. She sang songs from her latest album called Rockstar with many famous artists featuring in it such as Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Lizzo, Elton John, Chris Stapleton, Pink, and Brandi Carlile. Parton sang her famous songs like "Jolene" and "9 to 5" and she even covered Queen's "We Are the Champions" and "We Will Rock You." The entire cheerleaders troupe danced below her while she performed.

Parton feels comfortable performing on grand stages, such as the NFL halftime show. However, she disclosed to The Hollywood Reporter that she has rejected various invitations to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show. She mentioned that there were multiple reasons why she couldn't commit to the event, such as scheduling conflicts or feeling like she wasn't capable of handling such an enormous production. Parton acknowledged that she hasn't participated in such a big production before, and she wasn't sure if she could manage it. This was her stance at that time, but her thoughts on the matter may have changed since then.

One famous person who has been honored by both the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is Dolly Parton. Recently, on November 17th, she released an album called "Rockstar." Then, on Monday, she added two new songs to the album, bringing the total number to 30. The first new song is a collaboration with the band Måneskin, a new version of her classic hit "Jolene." The second song is a cover of "Two Tickets to Paradise," originally recorded by Eddie Money in 1977.
