Dolly Parton has given a terminal fan a surprise by making a personal call to fulfill their wish of meeting the legendary singer. This event took place in OREM, Utah.

As per The Washington Post, LeGrand Gold came to know about his terminal stage four colon cancer and was anxious that he might not be able to tick off all the things on his bucket list.

Around 12 months back, Gold scribbled down a list of eleven objectives that he wished to succeed in on a piece of paper napkin.

He thought that it would be impossible for him to meet Parton.

However, following the online posting of Gold's desire by his wife, Alice, Parton made a phone call to Gold earlier this week at his residence in Utah.

Reports state that Gold, who is 48 years of age, was left surprised upon hearing the sound of one of his preferred musical artists.

From the information given in reports, Parton and LG had a conversation that lasted approximately four minutes. During this time, Parton modified the lyrics of her famous song "I Will Always Love You" to incorporate LG's nickname.

According to The Washington Post, it is anticipated that gold will remain in existence for a duration of two to twelve months.

He revealed that Parton's phone call was very meaningful to him.
