Birmingham Eyes Rooney As Eustace Successor

Birmingham is considering Wayne Rooney as a potential manager if John Eustace decides to depart from the club.

The ex-captain of the England team has stepped down as the manager of the DC United soccer team in the Major League and has still maintained close ties with the soccer scene in England.

Eustace is gaining popularity because of his successful leadership of Birmingham, which is co-owned by NFL legend Tom Brady. The team has reached the sixth position in the Championship after playing 11 games.

A person who is 43 years old was given the responsibility of leading the club during summer of the year 2022. They managed to guide the club to safety without difficulty despite the financial uncertainty surrounding them.

Under the leadership of Birmingham's American owners, they have had a strong start to the season. The team is currently ranked sixth in the Championship, however, Eustace's contract runs until 2025 and he has not yet been offered a new deal.
