Daily Tweet Viewing On Twitter Is Limited

Twitter is temporarily imposing restrictions on the number of tweets users can access each day, according to Elon Musk, the CEO.

Confirmed accounts have a maximum allowance of accessing 6,000 posts on a daily basis, whereas unconfirmed accounts are limited to 600 posts per day. Recently created unconfirmed accounts have an additional constraint of only 300 posts a day, although Musk did not provide details on the duration required for an account to cease being labeled as "new."

The super-rich individual mentioned that the "transitory restrictions" aim to tackle the issue of "excessive data extraction and manipulation of the system." However, there was no mention of a specific timeframe for when these restrictions will be lifted.

Musk additionally verified last Friday that as a "transitory contingency measure," individuals are currently unable to access the social media platform without logging into their accounts.

"We were experiencing such high levels of data exploitation that it was causing a decline in service for regular users!" he posted on Twitter.

Confirmed users currently shell out $8 per month to Twitter in order to retain their verification badge. Musk's recently launched Twitter Blue subscription offering is just one of the many polarizing modifications he has introduced to the platform after taking over the company in October of last year.
