According to reports, Jake Cornish has shockingly left Love Island: All Stars after only three days.

The 26-year-old previous participant from the seventh season of the program encountered an uncomfortable situation when he got in the villa located in South Africa. This happened because he was reunited with his ex-girlfriend Liberty Poole who is 24 years old.

According to sources, Jake made the decision to leave after the audience voted for him to couple up with his ex-partner during the premiere episode that aired last night.

According to The Sun's source, Jake was thoroughly surprised upon encountering Liberty at the villa as neither of them had anticipated the other's presence.

It was evident from the beginning that they wouldn't reconcile, and subsequently, none of the ladies were willing to make a move towards him.

As he arrived in the South African villa, the past participant had to encounter a difficult reunion with his former partner, Liberty Poole.

Jake enjoyed a pleasant three-day stay at the villa and had a deep conversation with Maya Jama, which stirred his emotions. However, he ultimately decided to leave the show because he felt that it wasn't the right opportunity for him to find love.

ITV and the representatives of Jake have been contacted by MailOnline to provide a comment.

Twelve ex-Islanders, including Jake and Liberty, showed up on the latest spin-off program. The show brings back former competitors to the villa to give love another shot.

Liberty acknowledged that it could be uncomfortable encountering her ex as she makes her return, and she indicated that she is not interested in reigniting any past romantic relationships.

She was unpleasantly surprised when she came face to face with her former boyfriend, Jake, and to make matters worse, the audience chose them to be a pair.

Liberty disclosed that she hadn't communicated with him for a span of two years and was utterly surprised as she witnessed his entry into the villa, only managing to utter 'oh my God.'

They immediately rejected the idea of restarting their romantic relationship when Maya, the host, inquired.

Before returning to the villa, Liberty, who is 24 years old, acknowledged that encountering an old flame could potentially lead to an uncomfortable situation.

Maya inquired about the possibility of reigniting their past relationship with Liberty and Jake. Both of them instantly shook their heads simultaneously and denied the idea.

During the 2021 season of the show, Liberty and Jake had a tumultuous relationship. Liberty developed strong feelings for Jake very quickly, but it seemed that he did not feel the same way towards her.

The pair was the inaugural couple to be recognized in the seventh season.

But, when they did the test to see who was loyal in Casa Amor, Jake was caught urging his fellow male co-stars to cheat on their significant others.

Videos of this event were shown at the legendary Movie Night, as well as previous discussions where he openly discussed his emotions towards Liberty with his male friends.

During a video, he expressed his thoughts to his friends about a girl, saying that her personality is great and faultless. However, he did not feel a deep attraction towards her. He explained that although she resembled someone he knows, the chemistry was not strong enough for him to feel the urge to take her clothes off.

When she watched the first episode, she was unpleasantly surprised by the appearance of her former beau Jake, who strode into the room at the age of 26.

I don't want to pretend or be insincere, you understand? It's not my intention to claim that I genuinely like her if I actually don't feel that way, as that would be untrue to myself.

Jake has been accused of using 'gaslighting' tactics and displaying 'toxic' characteristics because he didn't give Liberty any compliments and criticized her looks and untidy behavior.

It had been a full couple of years since the former partners had exchanged a single word prior to their appearance on All Stars.

Before the villa's launch, Liberty mentioned that she would motivate her former partner to concentrate on finding a new relationship if he participated.

She mentioned that she hasn't had any communication with him since that incident occurred. However, if he desires a dialogue now, she is willing to engage in one. Regarding her stay in the villa, she stated that she had no misgivings at the time and acted according to her own beliefs.

I hope he does well and if we happen to be in the same situation, I want him to concentrate on discovering love, just like what I'm planning to do.

I don't want our presence in the same room to diminish our individual experiences. I will act politely... perhaps we could even become friends... it's uncertain.

In the meantime, Jake disregarded any possible conflict between them before going into the villa, stating that there was no hostility between them, even though their unexpected breakup was shown on screen.

"There's only one thing that matters, and that's Liberty. We parted ways without any hard feelings because we understand that everything happens for a reason. We simply grew into two different individuals," he expressed.

What's the reason for your comeback to the Love Island Villa? I only stayed there for 15 days on my previous visit, hence I feel like revisiting and relishing the experience once again. What's the story behind the Barbie Movie? Well, I received an invite to Margot Robbie's exclusive afterparty. I was trying to make small talk, but honestly, my conversation was quite nonsensical. What made you decide to go back to the Love Island Villa? It was an easy decision for me. I received the invitation and I knew it was an opportunity that only comes once in a lifetime. It was also the best summer I've ever had, so being able to experience it all over again is going to be amazing.

In your opinion, what makes the Love Island Villa an ideal location for people to discover romance?

I believe that Love Island: All Stars will be a unique experience this time around because we all have firsthand knowledge of what it's like to participate in the show, and the only thing we need to do now is to find that special someone.

What's the reason behind your comeback to the Love Island villa? I believe that during my initial stint, I was emotionally vulnerable and ended up getting hurt. However, this time around, I just want to have a good time and if I bond with someone, then so be it.

During the summer, you were dubbed 'Messy Mitch', a nickname that you have since embraced. Will we see more of this behavior in the upcoming series? Honestly, I don't plan on being 'Messy Mitch', it simply depends on the day. I'm an open book and I express myself freely. People appreciate my honesty and strong opinions. If something doesn't sit right with me, I won't pretend otherwise.
