Based on The Sun's report, the 26-year-old man from Weston-Super-Mare opted to depart from the reality TV program after being paired with his former lover, Liberty Poole, who he previously encountered in the villa two seasons back.

According to a source, Jake was tremendously surprised when he spotted Liberty at the villa. They had not anticipated seeing each other there. It was evident from the beginning that their reunion was out of the question. Moreover, none of the female contestants volunteered to express interest in him.

Jake enjoyed his stay at the villa for three days and had a heartfelt conversation with Maya Jama. However, he decided to leave the show as he felt that it wasn't the right moment for him to pursue a romantic relationship.

As of now, there's no official statement from ITV on Jake's departure from the villa. The premiere of Love Island All Stars took place last night [January 15th], featuring a bunch of familiar faces trying to find love in a lavish South African villa for the second time around.

In addition to Jake and Liberty, the lineup included Callum Jones and Molly Smith, as well as Lius Morrison and Hannah Elizabeth from the debut season of the show.

In the initial coupling ceremony, the audience had the opportunity to select who would be paired up, resulting in Jake and Liberty being reunited once more.

We have contacted ITV for a response.
