Bethesda announced in 2022 that they would be upgrading their product. However, they didn't provide any updates for some time. Recently, the Fallout TV series hit the global market, leading Bethesda to reveal the arrival date of the free upgrade.

In addition, Bethesda disclosed all the features of the upcoming Fallout 4 for the latest gaming platforms. The makers of Fallout 4, Bethesda, have officially announced that an upgraded version of the game will be released on April 25th, 2024, exclusively for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.

In addition to that, individuals playing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC will also get an update at no cost. However, it will not be as substantial as an upgrade and will primarily include overall fixes and enhancements.

The first announcement for the upcoming next-generation update was made in October 2022, with a release expected in 2023. However, the release date was postponed later in December 2023.

Bethesda announced in 2022 that Fallout 4's next-gen update will come with new features for fans to enjoy.
