Chelsea has expressed their disapproval towards the insults targeted at Conor Gallagher and mentioned that a widely circulated video recorded before their game against Burnley has been interpreted inaccurately.

Hateful remarks on Gallagher's social media accounts became visible following a brief clip that went viral on the internet. The video featured the captain of the Blues engaging with two mascots from his team, only minutes before the match commenced.

A few supporters watched the video and said that Gallagher did not acknowledge one of the mascots who tried to hug him. However, Chelsea has come to Gallagher's defense and stressed that they are a "varied and incorporating club".

The club released a statement saying that they were aware of a video circulating on social media from their match against Burnley on Saturday. However, they believe that the video has been taken out of context and may not accurately represent the situation.

The next degree of mistreatment and slanderous statements aimed at Conor Gallagher is utterly intolerable.

We take pride in our club's diversity and inclusivity, ensuring that individuals from various cultures, communities, and identities feel at home.

Mauricio Pochettino also commented on the video and expressed his dissatisfaction. He stated that he is upset and believes that fans are not comprehending Gallagher’s motive.

The reaction has made me unhappy, shared the Argentine. Nobody desires to do something with negative intentions. Conor is a wonderful and kind person, and he is concerned about everything. I detest individuals who exploit social media.

"Kindly cease your actions. We are all held accountable. Can you truly discern if Conor intends to neglect the mascot? This behavior deeply saddens me. No one deserves to be mistreated. Let's strive for better."

On Instagram, Nicolas Jackson posted Chelsea's message endorsing his fellow teammate.

It's highly likely that Gallagher will be playing in the game between the Blues and Manchester United that's scheduled for Thursday night.
