RICHARD ARMITAGE: AN INTRODUCTION

Richard Armitage is a British actor born on August 22, 1971, in Leicester, England. He is best known for his roles in period dramas, such as North and South (2004), Robin Hood (2006-2009), and The Hobbit trilogy (2012-2014). Armitage's career started in theatre as he trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. He then went on to work in television and film.
