Michael McIntyre, a hilarious comedian, had to cancel one of his performances during his global tour because he had to undergo a medical procedure.

On Sunday, the social media profile of the 48-year-old comedian revealed that he won't be able to present his show at Southampton's Mayflower Theatre on Monday.

The message on X conveyed the unfortunate news that Michael underwent surgery to extract kidney stones.

According to the announcement made, a new date will be planned for the show. People who are unable to attend on the new date will be given their money back.

"We regret any trouble that may have occurred," it stated.

This comes after McIntyre was incapable of putting on another performance of his Macnificent global tour in Plymouth last week.

The funnyman's social media page reported that his absence from the Plymouth Pavilions show on Thursday was due to "sickness."

According to the blog, the performance will be arranged for a different day that will be disclosed in the near future. If you cannot attend the new date, you will receive a reimbursement. Our apologies for any difficulties caused.

McIntyre has a gig scheduled for three consecutive evenings at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham, starting from Friday and ending on Sunday.
